Barber Mill

One of the many large rooms at the Barber Mill in Georgetown Ontario. Very cool place. hope they keep it around and don’t tear it down. You can also vote for it on 500px.
Chelenham Badlands

Here’s an image I took early in the winter at the Chelenham badlands. This is not a big place but it’s a great place to shoot first thing in the morning. This look is very unique as the soil is normally red and with the light snow dusting I’ve never seen this area quite like that.
Golden Gate Lookout

I took this shot on a whim as I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. I think with this warming sunsoft look it works.
Death Valley Sand Dunes

The sand dunes of Death Valley National Park just after dawn. When I was there the weather was stormy and the sky was grey. Not what I was expecting but nevertheless, I’ll take unique weather any day of the week.
Going To California… The Prep
So I’m off to visit the folks at Photoflex for a dealer meeting and I figured I’d tag on a little extra vacation time since California is really a great pace to visit. I’ve got 7 days to see the Big Sur coast off Highway #1. After that, I’m headed to Death Valley to capture all of its desolate beauty. To finish off, I’m going to drive north from Death Valley to Mono Lake and see it’s iconic tufas in this high mountain brackish lake. It’s going to be 1600km of incredible!
